Big smile, big yawn

Logan has been having a couple really good days. He's been holding his own oxygen up. They have only turned it up because they were messing with him and even then he holds it up most the way. He opened his eyes and looked around a lot when we were there. He tried real hard to get his thumb in his mouth. The only issue right now is his calcium. It's very low so they had to start and IV drip of calcium and vitamin d. His phosphorus is high so they think that might be the problem so they changed his fortifier a bit. Other than those things he's doing pretty good. I just love to see that smile. We love you so much, Logan.

  2. Lane says "That's great he yawned! You know most dogs watch a human kid yawn about 27 times before they learn it? Congratulations on the new baby Logan. If there's anything I can do to help let me know."

  4. He was doing good til yesterday. He kindof took several steps back. They had to try and get a new central line in because he has to go back on IV nutrition. He's not absorbing nutrients so well. I personally think it's because he has half a bowel to work with. Once they put his intestines back together I bet he'll absorb what he needs. His oxygen started dropping like a rock. The night nurse thinks it's about the positioning of the vent tube. When he's laying in certain positions it's okay and others he'll get irritated and drop like a rock. The night nurse is great so he's been doing better. The day nurse is not my favorite in the least...
